Tutorial inspired by the artist Frida Kahlo

A workshop inspired by one of the strong, powerful, and special artists who, despite the difficulties she experienced in her life, managed to keep her spirit strong and continued to create almost until her last day.

In the workshop, we will learn some details about the painter's life, her place of residence, her partner, and the difficult experiences she went through as a child and as an adult woman.

In the practical part, we will learn the technique of transferring an image using transparent taffeta, as well as painting techniques with acrylic paints, also using stamps and stencils.

We will combine working with a printed page with text (an old issue or from a newspaper) and working with vivid and powerful colors - as Frida used in her works.
