A week ago I spontaneously went on a 3-day vacation with a friend. As part of the humor between us, which we developed during the vacation, we kept telling each other "If we go out - we come back." After I got back, I kept thinking about this sentence and the slight change we made to it and came to some insights. So I decided to write about it.

For quite some time, Chen Bar-Shai and I have been walking together. It started literally "by chance," as you can read here below, and continued into a romance that will soon mark 6 years. And today, Chen and I already hold several titles - friends, students, teachers, partners in the journey, and colleagues. A year ago, I had a breakthrough when I asked Chen if she would like to teach courses in my studio that would teach the basics of working in the visual diary. As part of my development process, I realized that I did not have enough resources to teach additional groups and engage in business development, automation, and the expansion of the studio at the same time. Chen was the perfect solution for me! Since then, Chen has managed to teach 3 courses, quite a few workshops, and her students simply fell in love with her and have continued to come ever since. Win Win, didn't I say?

Children are very curious creatures and actually learn the world out of the curiosity and amazement of the initial meeting with different people, experiences, animals, materials and more. On the one hand, it may not suit everyone to be called "boy". On the other hand, who among us wouldn't want to go back to playing? explore? Have fun just like that for no particular reason? Forget your worries for a moment?

What is true freedom? Where is our freedom or not within us? in our thoughts? Is it possible to change patterns after age 60? How to help others to achieve our own freedom?

At the end of December 2022, we experienced a very big upheaval. Late at night, when I came back from the studio, I opened the door of our apartment and after seconds of recovery, I realized that I was seeing our dining room on fire (really! With flames and everything...).

The month of November is dedicated to information and activities to prevent violence against women. The number of women who are abused by their partners is very high. The injuries are not only physical, there are quite a few mental injuries that scar for life. The fact that violence against women can take so many forms can deceive and actually prevent the warning lights from turning on in time. Two years ago, while the corona was still present in our lives, the municipality of Kfar Saba decided, among all the other events of the month, to hold a large central exhibition in the lobby of the cultural hall in the city, all of which is dedicated to the fight against violence against women.

Since I became independent, I find myself discovering again and again the strengths that we, the women, have. Our ability to create connections with each other and often also to help each other - is simply wonderful. In this post I share part of my journey as a freelancer in the arena of many businesses and need to make a living and grow.
